It is truly amazing how often you can miss what is sitting right in front of you. Once again, I find myself guilty of doing just that. Having lived and worked in Barbados for many years I have been blessed with the opportunity to enjoy the sun, sea and sand all year round (I am not complaining!).
Recently, I have found myself re-discovering the myriad of not-so-hidden gems that this island has to offer. As a representative of Island Villas, a leading property management and villa sales & rentals company on Barbados' West Coast, I was involved in the launch of the company's newest premium service, 'theconcierge'. Aside from meeting the logistical needs of our clients (car rentals and all of the other potentially frustrating aspects of any holiday - we all know what I mean), 'theconcierge' can design the holiday that you have always wanted... a big claim, I know.
So, in order to back this up, our team has had to experience 'theconcierge' for themselves. This blog will chart our visits to some of the best activites/events/locales found in Barbados. From an unbiased, local perspective we will share our 'journey' around the island.
So, sit back, relax, have fun and share our exciting/amusing/sometimes frustrating but always interesting stories. Coming soon... The ICC Cricket Twenty20 World Cup (I have my tickets, do you?).
